Hello. My name is Bryce Frailey and I am a junior mechanical engineering student studying Japanese. During school, I like to make 3D models using CAD and I want to work in the energy field after school. Outside of school, my favorite activities are playing video games and volleyball, painting glass art, and reading.
I chose to study Japanese because I may be going abroad this summer to Japan for a study abroad program, and although it is not required, I thought I would give myself some help by learning the basics of the language before I get there.
I look forward to a fun and challenging class!
When working with CAD, do you prefer using Fusion360 of SolidWorks? Do you do any fun projects with CAD software, if so what are the kinds of things that you like to make? What introduced you to the world of CAD?
ReplyDeleteI prefer SolidWorks just because I have more experience with it. Right now I am making a hairpiece for a cosplay from a show. I was exposed to it since high school and I enjoy just how creative it allows me to be.
DeleteThat summer program sounds really cool! Where in Japan is it, and what're you looking forward to most about traveling there?
ReplyDeleteI would be traveling to Tokyo and Kyushu in Japan. I have never been there so I am excited to finally recognize all of the scenes from Japan that I have been exposed to.
DeleteHi Bryce! Studying abroad in Japan sounds really cool! What's your favorite video game?
ReplyDeleteThroughout all my life probably Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. As of right now I am enjoying Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
DeleteHey Bryce, what program were you planning to do this summer?
ReplyDeleteI am doing the engineering study abroad program to Japan. I believe it is called the Sophia and Kyutech program.
DeleteHey Bryce! What video games do you like to play / are your favorite ?
ReplyDeleteI like playing platform games, but recently I have been getting into more traditional fighters too.
DeleteHi Bryce. It's really cool that you can make 3D models with CAD. I also like to play video games and read books. It sounds like quite an experience to study abroad in Japan. What made you choose a study abroad program in Japan?
ReplyDeleteI want to visit Japan someday, and the engineering program I would be going with interests me a lot so it sounds like a good fit for me.
